Strawberry Fields Forever

Yesterday was a beautiful day so we loaded up the kids and went to Mrs. Heather's Strawberry Patch to pick some strawberries. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast. There were just rows and rows of strawberry plants and they gave you a basket and you just loaded it up and paid for what you had picked when you were done.

Noah had a great time filling up his little green basket with red strawberries.

Avery just hung out in her carrier with Daddy.

She too was enjoying being outside on this beautiful day.

Avery and Daddy picking strawberries.

Filling up his basket.

Then he discovered you could eat them right off the bush.

My three favorite people.

This was my basket and Eric had one just like it.

Someone enjoyed the strawberries.

Taking a time out, eating some more.

Me and my girl.

Something must have caught their eye in the other direction.

They had a huge kids play area including a big blow up dome that you can jump on. Noah was a little timid at first so I sat with him on it.

Then we stood and jump together.

Then he was ready to do it by himself. Then some big kids came and started jumping with him and he fell, got scared, started crying and that was pretty much the end of our good day. He didn't really want to do anything else after that, until we gave him another strawberry to eat and he was fine.

It was a great day and I think we will make it an annual adventure.
