Great Grama Bea

On Wednesday, Noah and I met Grama and Aunt Yvette for lunch at Chili's. After that we went to visit my Grama at her retirement community. She enjoyed seeing Noah and he loved meeting his other Great Grandma.

Grama Bea, you are really nice.

First PawPaw takes me into a bar, then Grama reads me the drink menu. I must admit though the colors are really cool. I'll take the blue one.

Kim's Birthday

Kim's birthday was last week and her, Luke and Erin came over for dinner. Noah enjoyed being held and cuddled by them, and learned from things from Luke. He is a cute little guy, and makes me excited to see how much fun Noah is going to be while growing up.
Luke you are so cool. Teach me everything you know.

Luke had fun playing with Raleigh, and Raleigh was glad to finally have someone to play with him.

This lady is cool. She feeds me. I love food.

Baseball Season Yet?

Grama was coming over to spend some time with us, so we went outside to wait on her since it was a nice day. It was a little to bright for Noah so I found his baseball cap that Ms. Shelly gave him before he was born. It is a little big but still precious, so I thought I would share.

Put me in Coach...
...I'm ready to play.

Future in Advertising

When Gammy and Poppy came to visit we made a trip out to Bass Pro. It was Noah's first time there. Which I am sure will be first of many, if his Daddy has anything to say about it. He enjoyed some of the merchandise and in my opinion would make a great model for Zoom Worms and for Bass Pro.

Mommy, can we put this on the car.

Mommy, lets buy this for Daddy. This kind of worm is going to catch the biggest fish this spring.

Someone block the light from my eyes, I need a nap.

Wow, Daddy is right. Fish are cool. Look at all those in there. I am going to catch them one day.

Gammy and Poppy Visit

Gammy and Poppy came to visit us last weekend and as always it was a nice visit. We spent the day at Bass Pro shop (pics later) and went to eat at Chili's. Kayleigh came over to visit and played with Noah. It was fun to watch Noah interact with all of them and spend time with his Gammy and Poppy.

Woah, Gammy what is that over there?

Hello Poppy, I have something to tell you, just let me figure out how.

One Happy Family, One startled baby

I Love it when my cousin Kayleigh comes to play. She is so much fun.

3 months old

Oh where does the time go. Our baby is already 3 months old. He is such a joy and a pleasure to be around. We love him so much and can't remember life without him. He is interacting more and more with us everyday. The smiles come more frequently now and he is starting to laugh at us more too. He is talking and cooing all the time now.He lights up everytime his Daddy comes into the room and talks to him. I seem to be the comforting one, where Daddy is the funny one. That is Ok, I love to watch them together. He just bumped up to 6 oz of formula yesterday and is sucking the bottle dry still. Noah has quite the temper and gets really mad when he is doing something he doesn't want to do. He loves his books. We spend sometime everyday lying on my bed reading. He just gets so excited everytime you turn the page, I think it is the bright colors. He still loves to lie on the floor and listen to music. He still kicks his legs and dances when a "good" song comes on. He now goes to sleep with music as well. We have a lullabye CD that seems to soothe him and makes bedtime more tolerable to Eric and I. He still wakes up a few times a night and we have to get up and put the noonie in and he goes back to sleep. He wakes up to eat at 5ish and he sleeps until about 8-8:30. We have mastered the morning nap, around 10:00 but the afternoon nap in his bed is still a struggle. I am working on it. All around he is such a good baby and we are very very blessed. Most of the time, when he cries is it just because he is either tired or hungry. We really have nothing to complain about and love him with all that we have. We are in a very happy place right now in our lives and thank God everyday for our special
little man.
Daddy you are funny.
If I try really hard, I can pull myself over Daddy.
Hmmmm, what to do?

Brrrr!!!

It was cold outside today, but we had errands to run. I bundled up the little man and we went shopping. He was just too cute in his winter gear to not take pics and post them for you all to see.

I know I look good.

A little laundry

After I finished folding the laundry, I had to put it away. I didn't want to leave Noah in the living room by himself so I decided to take him with me. Laundry baskets make good baby carriers too. Who knew?

Huh, this is kind of comfortable. Can I sleep in here tonight instead of my bed?
Ok, what is going on? Enough of this already. DADDY, HELP ME!!!

Hanging Out

Eric and I didn't have any plans this Saturday so we decided to spend the day with Grama and PawPaw. PawPaw boiled us yummy shrimp and they both enjoyed spending time with Noah.

Grama loves to rock me to sleep. She just relaxes me so.

PawPaw I love watching TV with you. All those colors mesmerize me.

What do you think your lookin at?

You're just to funny Grama.

Not quite yet

We put Noah in his exersaucer for the first time. While he has good head control and could balance himself in there, his legs just aren't quite long enough yet and his feet just dangled there. He isn't quite sure what to do with all the things yet. While I don't think he liked it, he tolerated it well.

I am just too cute in this thing. You know its true.

Life of the Party.

Noah and I had our first playdate yesterday with our new playgroup. It was him and about 6 other babies and their Mommies. It was quite chaotic but fun. Our little man couldn't handle all the excitement though and fell slap asleep in the middle of the floor with all the noise and playing going on around him. I guess he takes after his Mommy, and LOVES his sleep.
You guys go on without me, I need a nap.

You mean I can't eat this?

We have reached the everything goes in the mouth stage of Noah's development. Even those things that can't quite fit. I gave him this ball the other day and of course it went straight to the mouth. The funny thing was, his mouth just poked right through the holes in the ball. It was kind of funny looking. I hope the pictures do it a bit of justice.

I will fit it in my mouth, you just watch.

I see you!!!

Corruption Already

Saturday night we went to eat with Grama, PawPaw, Uncle J, and Ms. Kristen at the Pastime. Noah was being a little fussy so PawPaw took him into the bar part of the restaurant where a band was playing. 12 weeks old and his first bar visit, we are so proud. The funny thing is that the music made him relax immediately. He was fascinated. This kid really loves his music, or maybe he just liked being corrupted by his PawPaw at such a young age.

Bed Disaster

Being the domesticated one that I am now, I had to wash Noah's sheets yesterday. Getting them off was no problem, but getting them back on was tricky. Once I took the sheets off I saw that his mattress had a dip in it, so I thought I would flip it. Well those things just don't like to come out of the bed once they are in there, and once they come out they don't want to go back in. I finally had to stop and just wait for an extra set of hands, when Eric got home. It was quite comical because everytime we went into the room, Noah would grin and laugh, like he knew Mommy had made a mess of things. Maybe he just got excited because he thought he wouldn't have to sleep in it tonight.

Uh, guys, I don't think this is safe. Maybe I should sleep with you tonight.

Just a mess.

My Older Women

Noah had a great week this week and got to spend some time with the older ladies. Saturday night he got to go out on a date with Molly Kate. Of course, Mommy, Daddy, Mr. Jeremy and Ms. Katie were all there to chaperone. They didn't have much to say to each other yet, but I am sure they will warm up to each other as time goes on.

Ooh, she's pretty. Daddy, give me some lady tips.

On Monday we went to Ms. Jackie's house because Nanny and Anna were in town. This was Anna's first real encounter with Noah. She seemed to act like a big sister wanting to hit on him, and pull out his noonie. Someone's got to toughen him up. One day they will be the best of pals but will probably duke it out quite a few times until then.

Yikes, Nanny keep her away from me.

Best pals one day.

New Bed Pillow

While I get dressed in the mornings, I usually lay Noah on the bed and turn on the radio. Today, Eric propped him up in the pillows and which of course was a perfect photo op. You know we can't pass up one of those.

All smiles, today!!

I guess it was just to much for him.

Happy New Year!

2008 was a wonderful year for us. We were blessed in many ways. We finally got pregnants, had a healthy pregnancy and a beautiful baby boy. We hope 2009 will find us and you all blessed.

We had a pretty low key New Year's Eve since Noah is a little young to party yet. We went next door to the Graham's and watched LSU defeat Georgia Tech (38-3) in the Chick-Fil-A bowl. Then Russell and Eric made a fire and the kids made smores (yum). Noah made it till about 10:30 before he was sound asleep. We then welcomed in the New Year with our good friends and went home and put the baby to bed. The next day, Eric stuck with the tradition of watching football all day, but this year was special because he had a partner to watch it with him.

Just couldn't make it, Mommy.

Geaux Tigers! Go Brandon LaFell, he is my favorite player that's why I have his jersey.

Happy New Year, Jude!
