Car Fun
We had some nice weather early this fall, so we took advantage and spent some time outside. Since Avery can't walk yet, she is very limited on what she can do outside. She seemed to really enjoy the cozy coupe, especially when Noah was pushing her or when she was going fast.

Tailgating
On the morning of the first LSU home game of the season we decked everyone out in the LSU gear and headed to Coffee Call for some beignets before we headed out to campus. I think this was both kids first beignet experience. Noah was in love. Avery, my child who likes all food a lot, seemed as though she could have taken it or left it. Either way it was a fun experience being surrounded by all the Tiger fans on Game Day.
Our little cheerleader! Stuffing her face some more. Yumm, brownies!!!!
She may not have loved beignets, but she seems to love these brownies.
Daddy and his favorite cheerleader!Sugar crash! Check out those chunky thighs. Could it be from all the brownies?

Outside Play
These are just some pics of us playing outside on a nice day at the beginning of October.
New School Year
In September Noah started Mother's Day Out a couple days a week. After the disaster of last year we were both a little nervous, but it has gone terrific. He actually gets out of bed excited to go to school most days. This is a huge relief to me. Crosspoint Baptist is a great school and I am so glad that Noah finally got in.
He looks a little nervous, and there were a few tears on the first day but by the end of the first week he was getting out of the car with no trouble.

33 and Winning
September 3 was my 33rd birthday and also the first LSU game of the season vs Oregon. So of course we have to dress the kids up in their LSU gear to cheer the Tigers on to their first win of what has become a very exciting season.
Geaux Tigers!!!
Tiger in Training!
My 2 men making me a yummy birthday cake.
Taking his sprinking responsibilities very seriously!
2 Bits of Big News
The pictures below have nothing to do with the post or with my big news, but I figured you have gone long enough without any pictures so I would just give you a couple of tease pictures. These are just some random pictures from August of the kids playing.
Happy Boy!
One of the main reasons that I have been deliquent in my postings is I have been feeling lousy. This is due to our big surprise of Baby #3 being due in May. While a little overwhelmed in the beginning, I am now very excited about this news. I can't wait to see what "Lil Boosy" (the caboose, I promise) is going to be like since Noah and Avery are so very different. Unlike the other two we are not finding out the gender of this one and we are not telling any names that we decide on. So there are many things to look forward to and the new year is going to be very exciting for all of us.
Big News number 2, while not as exciting to you, but just as exciting to me, is that during my lapse in posting Noah has become fully potty trained. He has been tee-tee trained for a very long time, but would not poop anywhere but his diaper. Despite all the bribes, promises and even threats that we gave him. He finally decided right before his 3rd birthday that he was ready and has been accident free every since then. So while he may have been a little late in potty training, he was very easy to potty train because I waited until he was ready. Once we used that last diaper he hasn't had any accidents. He even goes totally dry at nighttime, even though he is still in a pull-up. Once that pack is gone that is it. We will be done. YAY, Noah. So proud of you.
I'm Back....
Yes, I know it has been FOREVER since I have posted. I have quite a few updates to add, as we have been busy. I will try to get these posted in the next few days and then I will do my best to stay on top of things now that the holidays are upon us.

Daddy's Birthday
Trouble
Now that Avery is mobile she is into more and more.
For instance she found the door jam and is now always making it go boing.
Getting into trouble and everything else she can.
Who me, just look at my face, I am sweet and innocent.
New Grill
Our gas grill went co-put last weekend so for his birthday Eric got a new charcoal pit. We had to use it right away so he got to work putting it together. Everyone had to do their share to help.
Noah used his screwdriver to tighten the screws after daddy put them in. While Avery tested the weight tolerance of the rack below the grill.
Then she just sat back and made sure they were doing it right.
Wait, one last tighten and we are ready to cook some yummy burgers.
Discovery Depot
A couple weeks ago we took a day-cation to Hammond to play in their children's museum. It was not a long ride and it was very small but it was very nice. I think Noah had a great time playing in all the attractions and Avery just liked being around lots of people.
One of Noah's favorite things to do here was making music. Each dot played a different note of music and lit up the tunnel. Avery liked to watch.
The bubble room was a favorite of all the kids. Noah liked turning the wheel and making the bubble wand fly out of the bubbles and make lots of bubbles.
After "driving" the bubbles into the air, he you also could make lots of giant bubbles with giant bubble wands and a whole tub of bubbles. We stayed at this station for a long time seeing how big we could make our bubbles.
After the bubbles it was onto the live animal exhibit. I think this exhibit changes every day when different experts bring in different animals. Today there were a bunch of baby bunnies that the kids could look at and pet. They didn't do a whole lot so Noah wasn't all the fascinated by them.
So we went to play Dr. They had a Dr station set up with all the necessary tools needed to be a Dr. They also had a some stuffed animals sitting on a table and you could give them a vets exam. This would have been a really neat station for him had he been a little older. He wasn't quite sure what to do here.
Any good Dr has to know how to perform an exam on someone arriving in an ambulance so Noah just practied his skills.
Avery just played along and went with us all around the museum. She had the best time looking at all the other kids and getting into what she could.
One of my favorite parts was the theater section. They had clothes to dress up in and a little stage. Again Noah was a little young for this section, but he did enjoy their selection of hats.
