First Self Fed Meal...BAP!!!

Last night for dinner we had baked chicken and pasta salad. Noah has tried all of these things at one point so I decided that we would make this his first "big boy" meal. He did great for a little while and then all of a sudden wasn't happy and didn't want anymore. So I thought maybe he just decided he was hungry and this wasn't going fast enough. Well, he didn't want any of his baby food either so I packaged this food up and gave it again to him for lunch today. He ate it all and even seemed to enjoy it. He also talked to me a little during lunch and I actually got it on video. Enjoy!! It is really cute.

Chicken, cheese and noodles. Yummy.

Well, I think I am done now.

Lunch was yummy today. Bap, Bap!!!

*** Bap, may mean puppy. He seems to say it alot when Raleigh enters the room or is near. Not sure though.

Boing, Boing..

Now that Noah can move, he is finding more and more things to play with. One of his newest finds is the door jam. He will scoot right up to it, grab it and make it make noise. Oh the endless fun for all, now that we are mobile.

Watch me, Mommy.
AAAhhhaaaa, funny stuff.

4th of July

Noah had a blast during his first 4th of July weekend. We spent the weekend at Gammy and Poppy's camp at Toledo Bend with a bunch of the Roan crew. Gammy, Poppy, the Duffys, Shannon, Mema, Suzi, Noah, Eric and I were all there Thursday night. Then Friday Mema got a surprise when Uncle Mark, Uncle Damian, Melinda, Matt and Jessica all showed up. It was quite a crowd and a good time was had by all. We swam, played some games, laughed and ate. Saturday night, the adults stayed out swimming and watching the fireworks on the lake.

Noah did quite well with all the people and all the activity. He had his fussy moments but seemed to enjoy being around all his cousins and other family.

God Bless America!!!

Everyone trying to get Noah to smile for a picture.

Hmmmm, whats down there?

Cousins are GREAT!!!

Klaire read Noah this book about 5 times and he loved it. He just watched her so intently the entire time.

8 months

I am way way behind in this post, of course, but Noah turned 8 months on June 21st. I have been keeping up with all his accomplishments such as scooting so I don't really have a whole lot else to add. He does have four teeth now. One other new thing he does is turn the pages of a book when I read it to him. When I am done with the page, I'll say "turn the page" and he will do it on command. I will try to video it so you all can see. Until then here are some pics of
him playing in his books.

Ride em' Cowboy

While Noah and I were in Walmart looking for a birthday present for a friend of ours, we saw some cowboy hats on display. Since we seem to have a lot of pictures of Noah in different head wear on this blog, I thought we would try this one on him too. The cowboyish pose just came naturally to him I guess.

Giddy up!!!
