* He now has 9 teeth. His molars just came in this week and you wouldn't have known it. His appetite has been a little less, but his mood has still been great.
*He eats just about everything. The only food we have found he doesn't care for is mashed potatoes. He will eat just about everything else you put on his tray as long as he is hungry. Once he is done, you know it because he starts throwing the food on the ground.
*He loves his Daddy. He will get so excited when Eric walks in the door at night. He will crawl right up to him and give him the biggest hug.
*He is so sweet right now. He freely gives kisses and big hugs. I cherish each and every one of these.
*He still loves his books best. At the end of every day the books from basket are all over the room.
*He likes puzzle toys, like his stacking rings, and nesting boxes. I think he may have gotten some of me and Eric's analytical skills.
*He is a creature of habit and loves to be a helper. For example every morning after he gets his diaper changed, he has to close his closet door and then turn out the closet light and the room light. Every night after his bath we put on his PJ's on our bed. He has to be the one to carry the basket of lotion and diaper rash cream to the bed. He also has to be the one to put it back in the bathroom. If you try to carry it in there, he will reach for it and cry until you give it to him. He also has to be the one to put his milk back in the refrigerator and close the door after his meals.
*He is still not walking but he is getting a little closer. He can push his "push toys" around the house and outside. He still leans on them a little but not as much as he used to. He also walks along the furniture, but very slowly and with two hands still. We are not rushing this, because he is mobile enough as it is and gets into everything already.
*He is getting more vocal. He says, mama, dada, ral, papa (for PawPaw and Poppy), water, ball, ear and other things. He is babbling more and more too.
Here is a video of his "tricks" as we call them. I couldn't believe how well he was cooperating today.
** If you listen closely he does say "woof" for dog. Also I would like to note that he knows his Grama and Gammy love him very much also but he can't say those yet. We are working on it.
