The Aunts Came Marching In

This weekend my Aunt Yvette threw us a beautiful baby shower. We were honored by many guests, a few of whom came in from out of town. Aunt Claudia, Alyssa, Hannah, Daisy and Aunt Joetta came in from Minnesota. Aunt Rachel flew in from Colorado. Krista, Klaire and Karoline drove in from Dallas that morning, and Noah's Gammy drove in from Lake Charles. We thank you all for coming in, and thank everyone for all the beautiful gifts. Noah is a loved little boy already.

Alyssa caught the most people saying the word baby, so she racked up on the baby clothespins. Notice her left shoulder. She gave us no slack.

How many toilet paper squares around do you think my belly is right now? It is actually 10 squares at this point in time, with most people guessing around 11.

Thank you Krista for helping me write down who gave what, and a special thanks to Daisy and Hannah for helping me open gifts.

Aunt Claudia gave Noah his first fishing pole and his first tackle box. His Daddy is very excited.

The Gathering of All

Since we had all this family in for the Baby Shower, we had to take advantage and get together more than once. Saturday night after the shower, we enjoyed some time with Eric's sister Krista and her three girls, Kayleigh, Klaire and Karoline. We ate pizza and just caught up.

On Sunday, the Mercil family all had a potuluck at Mom and Dad's on the river. We ate, laughed and braved what was left of tropical storm Fay. It was a fun weekend all together.

Sunday night we got back together with Krista and the kids to watch a movie. Klaire and Karoline had fun in the bean bag chair. I think it was only because it was an LSU bean bag chair.

Filling Noah's Ark

Ok, no more Noah's Ark jokes, even though I know I made this one.

This weekend, my good friends, Jennifer, Erin, Kim and Ms. Jackie threw us our first baby shower, and we were showered with many wonderful gifts. It was so much fun seeing everyone and seeing all the goods that Baby Noah got.

For even more pics, you can click on Anna's blog.

Yipee, diapers. What a cute idea? Thanks, Nanny.

Three of my four hostesses, Jennifer, Erin and Kim. At least my eyes aren't all the way closed.

Gammy, Me and MaMaw (or Nana, MaMi, NodNod, whatever she finally decided on)

It's an LSU hat. Keep his head warm during all those football games.

Eric's Mom made us this beautiful diaper bag. This boy had better be a TIGER!!!!

A Room with a View

Noah is going to have the most colorful room thanks to Ms. LeeLee. What started out as a blank gray room, turned into this beautiful creation in about 5 hours.

Here is Dad putting the bed together, the first time.
Noah's dresser which will hold all the goods.
Once the bed was put together I couldn't wait to put all the bedding on.

Inside of his bed.

Mom and Dad ready and waiting.

Boy or Girl??

May 15th, we found out that we were having our sweet little boy, Noah Tate Roan. Here are the ultrasound pics, which are from week 16.

Can't wait to meet this sweet little man.

Hard to see in this pic but definitely a boy.

Can't wait to kiss those cute little toes;

And that sweet little nose.
